One of the most loved and well known historical characters that has filled most of our childhoods is the Telugu poet and advisor Tenali Rama. His witty and infamous stories in court have been a part of many fables, children books and even adapted for films and serials. Sony SAB had a great run with Tenali Rama serial from 2017 to 2020 starring Krishna Bharadwaj as Tenali Rama for three years.
The serial is now getting a awaited sequel as children’s favourite Tenali Rama will be airing from December 16 at 8 PM. Sony SAB announced the news with a teaser where Tenali Rama is restricted from a distant kingdom as the quick wit advisor will spy upon the kingdom’s plans and report it back to the Vijayanagar kingdom. While the brilliant Tenali Rama is seen in disguise and learning about the plans and easily escaping just like any other thousands of times.
The serial will also include some of the main cast reprising their roles like Pankaj Berry, Sohit Soni, Sanjay Mangani while the rest of the cast and crew is not confirmed yet. The serial was an immediate hit among watchers, especially children who were easily attracted to the comic elements. Krishna Bharadwaj will be seen as Tenali Rama after doing almost 800 episodes during the first run.
