This week’s OTT releases offer a mix of TV shows and movies to satisfy the binge watching cravings of the audiences. From the thrill and suspense of “Kill” starring Raghav Juyal giving chills down the spine, to the romantic “Call Me Bae” featuring Ananya Pandey, there is immense content in store for everyone.
Kill:
Kill released on Disney Plus Hotstar today stars debutant Lakhsha Lalwani, dancer and actor Raghav Juyal, Taniya Maniktala, Abhishek Chauhan, and Asish Vidyarthi. The film revolves around Amrit Rathod, an NSG Commando, who is on a desperate mission to save his girlfriend Tulika who is engaged against her will. A bandit attack kills her and from there on Amrit starts into a killing spree to avenge his lover’s death.
Call Me Bae:
Released on Amazon Prime today, 6th Sept 2024, Ananya Pandey’s “Call Me Bae” is a comedy drama that tells the story of Bella Chowdhury, a woman who is disowned by her billionaire family and must rely on herself to survive. The series features Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Varun Sood.
Perfect Couple:
This is a six episode mystery drama streaming on Netflix based on Elin Hilderbrand’s bestselling novel, and is set on the idyllic Nantucket Island. The story follows Amelia Sacks, a bride as she prepares to marry into the wealthy and influential Winbury family. However, the planned wedding is thrown overboard, when a dead body is discovered on the beach just before the ceremony. The series features a cast including Nikole Kidman, Dakota Fanning, and Ishaan Khatter.
Tanaav Season 2
The second season of Tanaav is streaming on Sony Liv. The action thriller continues the story from where the first season concluded. The plot revolves around a retired special task force officer who is called back from retirement to hunt down a terror organisation leader who was believed to have been dead. The task team infiltrates the target’s brother’s wedding to capture but the situation gets out of control forcing the expert to adapt on the move. The cast includes Manav Vij, Arbaaz Khan, Danish Husain, Ekta Kaul, MK Raina, Rajat Kapoor, Satyadeep Mishra, Shashank Arora, Sumit Kaul and others.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die
The action comedy franchise brings the 4th chapter, Bad Boys: Ride or Die brings Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, in their iconic Miami detective characters of Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. This time the detective duo embarks on their most personal mission yet, clearing the name of their late captain Conrad Howard. It is that the late captain has been accused of corruption charges after his death. Venessa Hudgens, Jacob Scopio comes back into the star cast along with Melanie Liburd and Rhea Seehorn. The movie starts streaming from today, Sept 6, on Netflix.
