The first weekend episode of Bigg Boss Season 18 and the Colors team, BB makers and Salman Khan did not disappoint the audience. As expected, the first weekend episodes of Bigg Boss Season 18 are expected to be exciting, and Saturday’s episode did not disappoint. The star attractions for Sunday’s episode are Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri from Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment, and Mallika Sherawat as per the promos released. Krushna and Bharti are a big part of Bigg Boss, appearing each season to bring viewers and housemates a dose of laughter. Raj Kumar Rao and Tripti Dimri also will be gracing the stage with Salman Khan on Sunday’s episode.
Krushna expressed his feelings for Salman on his Instagram post: “Have been associated with #biggboss since a very long time , have danced with bhai ,have performed with bhai multiple times. But this was very very special. Bhai cooked food and fed me too. This is the magic of #laughterchefs.” The fun trio will be entering the house to spend some time with housemates. Salman will be cooking parathas for Krushna, Bharti and Lehri ji.
Salman had some serious questions for Gunaratna
“Kya Gunaratna se sarkaar sachmuch darti hai”? That’s the question ‘janta’ has for Gunaratna. But he appreciated the lawyer contestant for his antics that are winning the audience’s hearts.
Saturday task by Bigg Boss – who is real and who is still not showing true self
Bigg Boss gave a task to housemates wherein they have to call out a contestant who they think is not real and is showing his manipulated self. Bagga was one of the popular names said aloud by co-contestants that he is not his true self. Avinash calls Shilpa playing safe while Gunaratna pleads with her to show her true popular self as he is a big fan. Chaahat, as usual, calls out Vivian. But the one name which came out in majority was Avinash – 8 housemates called out his name. Housemates reasoned out his fights with Shilpa, Vivian over small issues of food and then blowing the whole situation out of proportion. This task was much needed – we could see opinions coming out loud in front. We can expect some more sparks in upcoming days and weeks.
Salman Khan too picked up this issue, discussing Avinash’s antics and behaviour with housemates. His suggestion to Avinash was to be respectable and within limits of dignity.
Salman schools Nyra Bannerjee for being invisible in the house
Salman Khan is known to speak without any filters at Weekend Ka Vaar – and we got the first glimpse on this Saturday episode after the BB host called out Nyra for her game, or rather lack of game. “Nyra aap iss hafte mei sirf chaar baar nazar aai ho. Sach baat toh yeh hai ki sab log bahaut ache hai, fabulous hai kyunki yeh real dikhai de rahe hai. Aap fabulous hoti agar baki sab log typical hote. Yaha koi bhi process kar ke react nahi kar raha.” Salman also said that Nyra is giving punch lines as creative head, which she isn’t.
Salman further asks Alice Kaushik, “What made you think that Nyra ka game abhi takk samne nahi aaya hai?” Alice replies, “Sir mujhe lagta hai ki Nyra jab bhi aati hai woh ek tone mei aati hai, ek dominate karne ke tareeke se aati hai. In her head, she thinks she is something.”
Time Ka Taandav – a twist in the tale
Salman Khan unveils a new room in the house where every week there would be ‘time ka taandav’. Vivian and Alice are the first housemates to make it to this room since Bigg Boss has predicted them as finalists. The room gives special power to its occupants to make decisions based on the past while the room always remains in the present. Salman gives the first task to Vivian and Alice to name the contestant who is responsible for each mistake done in the house. Alice and Vivian named and blamed Hema and Bagga over deciding to go to jail, showing their ‘mahanta’. As part of the task, they get garbage thrown on them. They are also held for ration distribution. Salman however says that Shilpa was more involved in it, according to him since she was in charge of rationing and kitchen. Blaming Avinash and Karan, Vivian and Alice said that the Hourglass task was banished because of them. Then Salman points fingers at Shrutika, Sara, Shilpa and Alice, who also deserve it, but they don’t get punished. Here Vivian again squarely puts the blame on the head of Chaahat for there being no sleeping arrangement.
