Despite not being from the entertainment industry, Gunaratna Sadavarte sure knows a thing or two about fun and entertainment. Episode 5 of Bigg Boss 18 was all shiny, thanks to his blingy OOTD and his dance moves as Hema and Tajinder sang as hsi cheerleaders. The episode started with Bigg Boss asking ‘Anupamaa’ fame Muskan Bamne – who is labelled as ‘lost’ and ‘quiet’ by her co-contestants – if she needs any help. She asks for a call with her family or their pictures, to which Bigg Boss refuses. “Mujhe kuch pata nahi tha ki akela yahan pe kaise rahungi, kya karungi. Koshish kar rahi hun main abhi bhi, mujhe samajh nahi aa raha hai. Aisa feel ho raha hai ki, mujhe lag raha hai ki koi baat karne liye hai nahi (I had no idea how I would stay here alone, what I would do. I am still trying, but I am not able to understand. I feel like there is no one to talk to).”
Gunaratna lashes out as he refuses to accept jail time orders
Bigg Boss played a heartwarming video of Gunaratna Sadavarte showering his love and affection on Tajinder Bagga. The video was fun, emotional and showed a bond between Gunaratna and Bagga. BB said he was hearing frequent demands to release Hema and Bagga. BB told housemates as they were seated in the living area, that the jail cannot be empty. For this, they let contestants pick two other contestants out of them with whom they think should be in jail rather than Hema and Tajinder. Chahat Pandey was more than willing to step into the jail.
Most house mates stood in support of Tajinder Singh Bagga and Hema Sharma’s hand for getting into the house. But then, Karan Veer Mehra, Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra denied freeing Tajinder and Hema from the jail as they had offered to serve the time for the so-called crimes they committed. BB commended the trio for holding their position on the matter. Therefore he provided him with a privilege to select one of the contestants whom they felt should go with Chahat Pandey into the jail. They gave the same name as Gunaratna Sadavarte’s name. He says he has an image outside and that if he chooses to go to the jail in the show, then he will lose his image. He then says that the government fears him. “Sarkar mujhse darti hai, Daud Ibrahim mujhse darta hai.” Upon hearing this statement of Gunratna, the contestants are taken aback and do not comment on the same further.
Karanveer gives “mind coach” Arfeen Khan a comeback
What looked like a deep, sensible conversation between Karanveer, Arfeen and Shilpa Shirodkar, soon turned to be a “give Arfeen Khan taste of his own medicine”. Arfeen tried to ‘mind coach’ Karanveer about how his past of troubled childhood, failed marriage has influenced his behaviour and temperament. But the ex Khatron Ke Khiladi winner was in no mood to take the statements. He gave a comeback saying, “When he is judging me about my character and saying, when he passed a comment by saying his pattern is this or it could be like fail marriages, childhood, ussi judgement main inke baare mein bol sakta hoon, that there are 100 people under him so he is under this demeanour that everyone listens to me. I’ve married a person who is from a different cast and I’ve converted her to this..”
What a comeback Karanveer!! Arfeen was taken aback, rightfully so. But the audience got a glimpse of Karanveer’s fiery side and how he will not be sitting ducks with people passing statements on him in the BB house.
