This week’s nomination task, highlight of episode 17, was rather interesting with Shrutika given power by Bigg Boss to divide the number of nominations among contestants. In the task Shrutika was given power to allow either 0,1,2 or 3 people that contestants can nominate.
The Tuesday episode of Bigg Boss 18 started with Nyra mocking Rajat over his frequent sleeping in the house during daytime. The two get into a heated argument as Rajat takes offence in the teasing.
Shrutika is the ‘laadli’ of Bigg Boss 18 house
Bigg Boss gives task to all housemates to choose a ‘laadla’ or ‘laadli’ of the house who will be given special powers in this week’s nomination task. The housemates choose Shrutika as ‘laadli’ of the house after which she was given powers in the nomination task.
High charged nomination task
Shrutika denies Avinash a chance to nominate any housemate which triggers a verbal spat between the two. Shrutika calls him an “amazing actor” in sarcasm, Avinash replies back, “Tu toh woh bhi nahi hai, toh aayi kyun hai yahan pe. Gate kholke beech se nikalke bahar kar dunga, I challenge you, bro.”
Rajat is given the right to nominate one person, while Shehzada has two names to take and he nominates Vivian and Rajat. After the end of the task, five people are nominated by the housemates – Avinash, Nyra, Rajat, Muskan and Vivian. The task, which had the scope of becoming game changing, ended up rather obvious as Shrutika gave his friends – Shilpa, Karanveer and Sara – the power to nominate three housemates this week.
During the nomination task, Rajat and Shehzada are seen exchanging heated words. Rajat charges up at Shehzada, “Naa tu andar bhid sakta hai, naa tu bahar bhid sakta hai. Bahar teri aukaat nahi hai aur andar aa ke dekh le.” Shehzada gives back to him, “Bahut bada gunda hai tu? Tu mujhe jaanta hai kaun hun mai baahar. Tu sorry mangega.”
Promos reveal a new argument in the house, this time between Chaahat and Avinash. The promo video shows Chaahat throwing water on Avinash while he is sleeping in the night, that triggers a sequence of word exchange between the two.
