Shrutika Arjun, born as Shrutika to Sivasankar and Kalpana in 1987 comes from a rooted lineage of creative cinema performers. Her grandfather, ‘Thengai’ Srinivasan has several impressive filmographies under his belt with his popularity intact even today. A veteran actor, comedian and drama artist known for his expressive eyes and perfect execution of timely comedic notions, has certainly left his assets to his grandchildren.

Shrutika, like many other film family kids, got her big introduction to acting early in her life with the 2002 movie ‘Sri’ alongside Suriya. Shrutika when offered the role was just 16 and was still in school, took upon the offer and had a pretty decent welcome into the cinema industry.
Shrutika role as Meenakshi, who is a love interest for Suriya in the film was applauded and even quoted as ‘A nice pair’.
