Chahat Mani Pandey, who struggled initially to find her footing, hails from the small village of Chandi Chopra in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. Chahat lost her father at a young age and this was topped up by having to grow up with her mother, Bhavna Pandey. This personal loss though, appeared to act as a spur to help her sustain her efforts throughout the journey.
Chahat initially studied in her hometown, starting her education at the primary level till 5. The school she attended was Mukesh Memorial Public School in India. She went to Adarsh School in Jabalpur Naka for her 10th standard and completed her 12th standard from JPB school in Damoh district. Chahat Pandey officially joined the entertainment industry through acting in 2016, starting by featuring in the television show known as “Pavitra Bandhan.” Mishti Roy Choudhary, a character who had come back from America, launched her in the world of Indian television. She came into focus after she performed the lead character Radha in the teaser trailer of the famous mythological show “Radha”. Although she was later replaced, it created opportunities for the young actress to explore more acting prospects.

Chahat’s big moment came when she got the lead role of Pakhi Parekh in the TV serial ‘Hamari Bahu Silk’ which has been aired since 2019. Its concept where she portrayed a voice actress who synchronizes the films of a woman for a sleazy actor perfectly captured her acting prowess. Nonetheless, despite the high and low moments, Chahat did not lose herself in the television arena. She then joined Star Bharat to appear in the lead role in the show “Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya.” Now she is playing the character of Mahua in the Dangal TV show “Nath Zewar Ya Zanjeer,” which deals with social issues in rural India.

Chahat Pandey has a large fan following on Instagram, with over 1.5 million followers. One of her controversies includes when the actress relocated to Mumbai to further her career in acting. However, in June 2020, she and her mother faced legal trouble when they were arrested and imprisoned. The charges against them included unlawfully entering her uncle’s residence, causing damage to the property, and physically attacking him.
