Panchayat 3 Review:

The most anticipated web series Panchayat Season 3 is streaming on Amazon Prime Videos from May 28.

The last 2 seasons of Panchayat created such a place in the hearts of the viewers that the viewers started eagerly waiting for its third season. The story depicts the simplicity of the village and that is why the Indian audience is connecting with the story a lot. Seasons 1 and 2 of Panchayat were hits. The last 2 seasons of Panchayat kept the audience full of entertainment but this time in season 3 we can feel more political emotions rather than entertainment.

What is the story of Panchayat?

A young man who is an engineering graduate comes to Phulera village to gain experience his name is Abhishek (Jitendra Kumar). He does not like the environment of the village at all and he wishes to go back to the city.  But with time, he gets emotionally attached to Sarpanch Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and her husband Brij Bhushan (Raghuveer Yadav) and of them His romantic angle also starts with his daughter Rinku (Sanvika).

This is all that we have seen in previous seasons of Panchayat. The 1st season of this web series spread excitement within the audience and a wide range of audience got engaged with the Panchayat season 2. But the story of Panchayat Season 3 is not attracting the audience much. This happened because if a series reaches the level of Season 3 then the directors try to stretch it, this is exactly what we felt at the time of Panchayat 3. The story is going in a different direction.

Story of Panchayat 3

Panchayat Season 3 starts with the arrival of a secretary in Phulera village, and the transfer of ex-Secretary Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar).  Villagers like Bhushan Dubey (Raghubir Yadav), Prahlad, and Vikas (Chandan Roy) were all working to stop the new secretary from taking charge. Their plan succeeds and Abhishek returns to Phulera village.

Prahlad (Faisal Malik) falls into depression and alcoholism after the death of his son.
After all the tricks, the turning point of this story is a new conflict! A new cold war started between MLA Chandrakishore Singh (Pankaj Jha) and Phulera village. With this, the audience will be able to sit and watch the story of who will win this battle and who will be the best in the village.

You can watch this story of Panchayat 3 on Amazon Prime Video:

The characters of Neena Gupta and Faisal Malik are energetic, and excellent in ‘Panchayat 3’. They truly shine in season 3 with their captivating performances throughout the show. Neena Gupta’s transition from a proxy president to a more involved role is an especially engaging part of the Panchayat 3. Faisal Malik’s portrayal of Prahlad’s sorrow is deeply touching, bringing a rich emotional layer to the series and engaging the audience.

Apart from these Jitendra Kumar continues to impress as Sachiv Ji, with a charming romantic subplot involving Sanvikaa. The supporting cast performed well, including Raghubir Yadav, Chandan Roy, Pankaj Jha, and Durgesh Kumar delivered strong performances.

While the first two seasons of ‘Panchayat’ were celebrated for their light-hearted humor and entertainment, this third season of Panchayat shifts towards politics and drama, creating a more serious tone. This change is a disappointing moment for viewers who are coming here to look for comedy in Panchayat.

The cast’s performance is very good but the editing could have been sharper. Given the high standards set by the earlier seasons of Panchayat, this season feels a bit less impressive.
