After a blockbuster run in theatres, the much anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan is set to make its OTT debut. The Sci Fi that grossed INR 1000 crores worldwide, will be available on two major streaming platforms starting from Aug 22, 2024.
Release Details;
Prime Video and Netflix will be the dual streaming platforms for the film. Hindi version would be available on Netflix while Amazon Prime Video will be streaming it in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages with English subtitles.
Prime Video announced the film’s OTT debut with a poster on the SM saying, “The dawn of a new era awaits you. And this is your gateway to the grand world of Kalki…Kalki 2898 AD on Prime…Aug22”

The film is directed by Nag Ashwin, and stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Hasan in lead roles. Saswata Chatterjee, Disha Patani, and Shobhana also play important roles in the film.
The 50 day run of the film in the box office was marked by an extraordinary box office performance including the Indian market amounting up to INR 767 crore.
