“Walt Disney- A Magical Life” show is an audio animatronic creation that is planned for recreating the late Walt Disney’s voice and physicality for a public presentation. This idea is greenlit by his grandchildren who are all set for the show to commence from May of 2025.
The board of directors of Walt Disney Family Museum consists of five of Disney’s grandchildren and three of his great grandchildren who are all excited for the animatronic show. They even said that the late entertainment pioneer would have loved the idea of an audio animatronic show based on his life that will be available for the Disneyland visitors.
“We are enthusiastic about, and grateful for, the company’s efforts to create this exciting new attraction that will allow people to experience Walt Disney, the man behind the magic,” Executive director of Walt Disney Family Museum, Kirsten Komoroske said in a statement. This show is a creation of the Disneyland and Walt Disney Imagineering team who has been working for over 5 years.

The Imagineers have put forth accurate and advanced technology by going through archives and historical footage of Walt Disney. The Imagineers stated that, “We scoured through his speeches and documents to find the words that would bring him to life in a way that would feel as if we dropped into his office for a chat,” he said. “Our hope is that the end result will give guests the best sense of Walt and his engaging and warm personality.”
