Highlights
After the anticipation for “Joker 2”, Indian audiences are now tuning in for “Venom: The Last Dance”, being the last Tom Hardy picture in the “Venom” trilogy. Directed by Kelly Marcel, the film was released in theaters in India on October 24, 2024, and now has a moderate response on its first day. Despite mixed reviews and a lukewarm opening compared to expectations, *Venom: The Last Dance* was able to surpass its prequel, as well as “Joker 2”, during the first day of its release.
Venom 3 starts with a decent collection at the box office
The much-anticipated finale, “Venom: The Last Dance” opened to a breezy ₹5.50 crores in India on its first day. For a weekday release, the performance was decent, as it marked an improvement over “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” (2021), which performed poorly at Indian theaters. Audiences loyal to the series had expected a film that would try to improve upon an earlier failure, though with reviews ranging from mediocre, making it a blockbuster picture may be difficult.

However, the third one made the major sales even more significant and topped the figure for both of the first two days of the first and the second part. Here’s how “The Last Dance” compares to the opening days of the trilogy in India:
– Venom (2018): ₹4.09 crores
– Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021): ₹3.71 crores
– Venom: Making of The Last Dance (2024): ₹5.50 crores
This performance also pushed out “Joker 2” which opened at ₹5.10 crore in India, putting “Venom 3” in a better place than expected for a franchise that has struggled in India.
What’s Next for Venom: The Last Dance?
The first-day response gives “Venom: The Last Dance” a good foundation particularly as the weekend comes along. Occupancy during evening and night shows should increase for viewers would go to theaters, which may also help increase Friday collections. The film’s word-of-mouth could also increase its business over the weekend if the audiences are also favorable to it.
More About Venom: The Last Dance
#VenomTheLastDance isn’t just fun, IT’S THE BEST VENOM MOVIE BY FAR! It’s the funniest, most emotional, best story & it takes the silliness we love & fully embraces it full force. Besides Hardy as Eddie Brock, the main cast of the film includes famous cast such as Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Graham, Peggy Lu, Clark Backo, and Alanna Ubach. As the fifth installment in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, “Venom: The Last Dance” is going to be a nostalgic tribute to the franchise’s fans.
There is a hard reaction concerning the lack of power of the movie’s screenplay while the cast is receiving appreciation for its ultimate performances. With these initial responses, only time will tell whether “Venom: The Last Dance” will have a nice run and would be able to deliver what its fan base expected from it or, whether it will fail to gather strength at the Indian box office.
