HBO’s hit series ‘The Last of Us’ had all of us in tears, gripping the chairs and waiting with bated breath for the next season. The new season now gets a release date with fan favorites Abby, Ellie and Joel reuniting for a final showdown that is set for a stunning visuals and thrilling storyline.
The Last of Us Season 2 will have 7 episodes where Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) are living with Joel’s brother Tommy after 5 years of the events of first season. While Abby Anderson (Kaitlyn Dever) is coming after Joel, will the latter protect Ellie and handle a plateful of fatal problems arriving after the peaceful situation in Montana. The upcoming season is the devoted adaptation of ‘The Last of Us Part II’ and takes off as, “After five years of peace following the events of the first season, Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up to them, drawing them into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind,” read the official Max brief.

The Last of Us Season 2 has an additional set of Cast with Isabela Merced (Dina), Young Mazine (Jesse), Danny Ramirez (Manny) and many others. HBO’s Francesca Orsi gave away a small tease of the possibility for a 4 season plan which means the upcoming season will follow the story of the second part of the equally popular game.
