It’s been a busy year for Simon Kinberg who produced the two part Deadpool films starring Ryan Reynolds while also being associated  with Paramount’s Star Trek movie financially. Being no stranger to the world of franchises as Kinberg’s filmography includes the launch of Sherlock Holmes films starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law, and the intensive years working on the X- Men universe and a Logan Spinoff apart from the Agatha Christie trilogy and many more.

The Star Wars universe keeps expanding with ongoing projects including a Jedi saga directed by James Mangold, Taika Waititi’s close- fisted Star Wars project, a Sharmeen Obaid- Chinoy’s creation of Daisy Ridley’s Rey.
