Deadline has reported that Holland – set to return as Peter Parker – has potentially found a co-star for the upcoming installment of Spider-Man. Sadie Sink of ‘Stranger Things’ fame is expected to join the sequel.

Directed by Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man 4 is releasing in 2026. Sadie Sink could be introduced as X-Men character Jean Grey or another redheaded Spider-Man character. But one thing is sure that her role is going to be a significant one.

In the most recent installment of Spider-Man, Peter Parker made the decision to complete Doctor Strange’s spell that erases his identity. If that plotline is carried on, one can expect Holland’s old castmates to get reduced roles in the 2026 release.

For Sadie Sink, the potential role in Spider-Man 4 comes on the heels of her bidding goodbye to the part that helped launch her career as the final season of her Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’ recently concluded production.
