The special covers Jamie Foxx’s personal incident from 2023, a health scare during the filming of ‘Back in Action’, an action packed drama of a couple of former CIA spies pulled into action.
The Netflix Special teased the fans with Jamie Foxx saying, “I said, “If I could stay funny, I could stay Alive” followed by a curtain raising with a shadow figure (Jamie Foxx) showing up, saying “I’m Back”. The show is planned to narrate the story of his mysterious health complications in a ‘funny way’ and is directed by Hamish Hamilton and bankrolled by Foxxhole Productions and Done + Dusted.
The ‘Django Unchained’ actor was taking a break from acting and all his commitments after his health scare in 2023. Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne gave the update on his health by April of last year, that he was hospitalised but was nearly recovered by then. The actor / singer is now fully recovered but kept his medical complication personal all these months.
