One of Netflix’s favourite Rom-Com Queen, Lana Condor married Anthony De La Torre in a small, scenic wedding ceremony in Malibu, California with an intimate crowd of friends and relatives on 31, October. The couple’s special day was featured in Vogue with the details of picking the venue, the gorgeous dress and the bride’s deep missing of her mom who passed away earlier in 2024.
Lana Condor met the love of her life Anthony De La Torre in an Emmys after party in 2015, where the actress locked eyes with the latter and immediately felt a spark. “We were both there alone and saw each other from across the room, And that was that—we both knew that day would forever change the course of our lives. We just didn’t know exactly how…but boy, did our lives change for the better!” recalled Lana as she spoke with Vogue.

The couple exchanged their heartfelt vows at the Serra Fransican Retreat Center in Malibu, a place that is special to Lana Condor and her mother as they had spent some valuable time during the actress’ high school days. Lana’s mother Mary sadly passed away months ago and as a way of having her and feeling her mother’s presence, the couple chose the venue.
Lana Condor walked down the aisle in a Vera Wang gown, as the actress was obsessed with wearing the renowned designer’s dress for her wedding. The high split, white corset gown is even more special as Lana and her mother chose the dress back in 2022, immediately after her engagement.
The ‘Moonshot’ actress took her mother along with her bridesmaids to hunt down her dreamy wedding gown in 2022 where, “My mom and I absolutely fell in love with my wedding gown the moment I tried it on and I am so grateful I got to share that experience with her” Lana remembers the moment with her late mother. The actress was very close to her mother and was emotional in recalling the memory as “the only time she was able to see me in my dress, and I will hold that memory in my heart forever.”
The couple was surrounded by their close knit friends and family in their dreamy, Spanish vibe ceremony still maintaining a classic aspect to their special day. The backdrop of Malibu mountains with Lana and Anthony exchanging their vows is a sight that took our breaths away.
