The lively and well loved Animated Series from Dream Warriors ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ is adapted from Cressida Cowell’s bestselling book series. The Live Action movie also revolves around Isle of Berk, where Vikings and Dragons are in a rift while Hiccup, the son of a Viking Chief Stoick The Vast befriends Toothless, an amiable dragon. The friendship breaks centuries of misunderstanding as Hiccup now tries to unite his clan with the dragons to surpass an ancient threat together.
The animated movie series released in 2010 with the voice cast of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, America Ferrera. Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Craig Ferguson and many. While many fans question the need of a Live action revival of a fairly recent and popular animation, the teaser released on Tuesday, 19 November with many positives. Fans are thrilled to see the animation work is convincing and couldn’t help but gush over Toothless – the dragon as perfect.

The Live Action ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ movie has changed most of the cast including the lead Hiccup, who was voiced by Jay Baruchel while the Live Action Hiccup is played by Mason Thames and has retained Gerard Butler who plays Stoik the Vast. The film is written, produced and directed by Dean DeBlois and produced by Three times Oscar Nominee Marc Platt and Emmy Winner Adam Seigel. The movie is up for release on June 13, 2025.
