The second season of HBO’s one of the most popular series House of the Dragon has been streaming on JioCinema, Max (formerly HBO Max), Spectrum On Demand, and the Max Amazon Channel since June 16. As four episodes are already streaming on these OTT platforms, now fans are eagerly waiting for the release of remaining episodes. Both critics and fans have given some very positive reviews to the series so far. Here we got an insight of everything going on in this Game of Thrones prequel series.

When, Where and How to Watch House of Dragon Season 2?

The first episode of the second season of  this beloved series premiered on June 16 on Max in the United States and June 17 in India. Later episodes air every Sunday on Max in the US and on Monday in India. This latest season has eight episodes of 60 minutes, with a finale scheduled for August 5. Here is the schedule for the rest of the episodes that will be released soon. Episode 5 will be out on July 15, Episode 6 on July 22, Episode 7 on July 29 and the finale will air on August 5.

A Sneak Peak into the Episode 4 

The Battle at Rook’s Rest serves as the climax of Episode 4, driving the narrative closer to conflict. Criston Cole has taken control of several castles for the Greens, while Aegon’s behavior grows increasingly erratic. Criston plots to capture Rook’s Rest without Aemond’s knowledge. Rhaenys volunteers as Rhaenyra prepares to send one of her dragons to battle. Upon arrival, Criston signals Aemond, revealing their strategy: the attack is a ploy to lure a dragon and tip the odds. However, Aegon unexpectedly joins the fray, escalating the chaos. During the battle, Aemond attacks his own brothers, Aegon and Sunfyre, causing them to crash into the forest.

What to Expect in Episode 5? and Release Dates

Picking up after the chaos of the Episode 5 preview, Aegon is definitely going to survive despite serious injuries. Continuing her campaign to vanquish the River lands, Rhaenyra remains determined. Mysaria’s cryptic words offered a glimpse into a future shrouded in shadow, “There is more than one way to fight a war,’ hinting at Blacks may be plotting rebuttal in response to Rhaenys’s death.
