The 2025 Golden Globes nominations are locked in with several movies bagging the nominations more than once, reasonably so for their ultimate entertainment factor. Here are the movies with many nominations and where to stream them now.

The Golden Globes has been recognising and rewarding the best of movies even including those from international releases. The 2025 Golden Globes awards nominations are sealed with several movies and shows nominated for more than one category. Buckle up to watch the movies that you may have missed are now available in streaming sites and upcoming in the following months. Here are the movies that are most nominated or nominated more than once and the ways to watch it. 

Emilia Perez 

The most nominated movie of The Golden Globes 2025 is the French language crime musical, Emilia Perez by filmmaker Jacquard Audiard. The movie bags the nominations in 10 categories including the main categories for Best Motion Picture, Best Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress. 

Cast: Zoe Saldana, Selena Gomez, Karla Sofia Gascon.

The Brutalist

Adrien Brody strikes again with a monumental movie that is an international production between the United Kingdom, United States of America and Hungary. The movie follows Laszlo Toth, a hungarian born jewish architect who emigrated to America with his wife and niece and tries to achieve the American dream by designing homes and interiors with his cousin only to achieve it after many struggles. The brutalist is nominated for 7 categories. 

Cast: Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwin, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Emma Laird.

Conclave 

A unique and touchy subject, the election of a new pope after the death of the previous one sets the scene for some of the finest actors to fit seamlessly and give their utmost performance. The tense, rigid and tight narrative of how one of the most secret groups in the world elect their head. The movie is nominated for 6 categories in the 2025 Golden Globes. 

Cast: Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow and Isabella Rossellini.

The Substance

Marked as a body horror film, ‘The Substance’ is about how the unethical body standards in the beauty industry or in limelight is taken advantage of and what goes behind the screens. The movie was released with appreciation with the story leaning a little towards the darker, uglier and quite fearful side. This movie is nominated for 5 categories.

Anora

A dramatic, fun movie about a Brooklyn sex worker who falls in love with a wealthy Russian boy, whose family rejects their marriage and tries to split the couple. The movie is now nominated for 5 categories. Described as a modern day Cinderella story, Anora is a winner of Palme d’Or winning Cannes film.

Challengers

A highly appreciated sports drama that delves into the lives of an injured tennis player who becomes a coach is stuck in between her early lover and her now champion husband, with ego clashes, steaming drama of love, attraction and full of twists even in the climax. This movie received 4 nominations.

The Real Pain

A planned road trip of humorous, transparent and mismatched emotions of two close cousins that is quirky, funny and everything emotional. The movie released on limited screens and had a film festival opening at Sundance in January, it is also marked as one of the best films of the year. Jesse Eisenberg wrote, directed and produced the spectacularly realistic movie of mourning, love and just life as we take it.

Wicked

The musical fantasy film that is heavily promoted and was released in November, 2024, Wicked is the first act of the enormous broadway musical of the novel adaptation based on The Wizard of Oz. The famous movie adaptation has secured 4 Golden Globes nominations and awaits positive output in 2025. 

Cast: Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Peter Dinklage.

The Wild Robot

Universal Studios’ ‘The Wild Robot’ is an animated science fiction adventure film based on the novel by Peter Brown. It follows a deserted test robot who in order to survive has to adapt to the surroundings and create an amicable relationship with the animals and wildlife in the island and also finds a motherly bond with an orphaned goose. The movie bagged 4 nominations in the Golden Globes 2025. 

Cast: Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Kit Conner, Bill Nighy, Stephanie Hsu, Mark Hamill, Catherine O’ Hara.

A Complete Unknown

One of the highly anticipated biographical movies about the famous musician Bob Dylan played by Timothee Chalamet. The film particularly focuses on Dylan’s life in January 1961 when he moved to New York City from Minnesota and his infamous 1965 Newport Folk Festival concert and the controversies surrounding his personal and professional life. The film which is yet to see theatrical release but had an early access screening in three locations has now bagged 3 nominations in the Golden Globes 2025. 

Cast: Timothee Chalamet, Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook.
