James Bateman teasing and toying a ‘low level TSO’ played by Taron Egerton to be his compelled and reluctant accomplice to stop a mass murder inside a bustling airport on Christmas Eve is the perfect plot for a Christmas Movie – for people who love the crime genre leaking into the holiday season.
Taron Egerton, a sincere TSO is pulled into a treacherous plan by a domestic terrorist, played by Jason Bateman to be his aide in planning an illegal transportation, and threatens to comply with his words for the Christmas Eve to go the merry way.
Netflix’s official synopsis read, “A young TSA agent fights to outsmart a mysterious traveller who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight”. Taron Egerton looks as comfortable as he is in his niche of action movies, especially in the later part of the trailer.
With ‘Kingsman’ level stunts and a gripping fight sequence in the bathroom between Jason Bateman and Taron Egerton that seems to be the breaking point for the movie to shift to the next gear. Sofia Carson from ‘Purple Hearts’ looks bewildered and scared for the role of the girlfriend, while the trailer does not possess much for the actress.

Directed by Jaume Collet – Serra, who previously helmed projects like ‘Non – Stop’, ‘Unknown’, ‘Run All Night’ all three starring Liam Neesan. The director certainly has an affair with the action genre and is backed by Writers T.J Fixman and Michael Green.
‘Carry – On’ also stars Danielle Deadwyler, Logan Marshall-Green, Dean Norris, Sinqua Walls, Gil Perez-Abraham, Tonatiuh, Curtiss Cook, Joe Williamson, and Josh Brener. The movie is slated for premiere on December 13 on Netflix.
