Plot;
After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), Sam (Anthony Mackey) finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
Release Date;
Captain America – Brave New World was originally set to be released in November 2023 and was rescheduled to July 26, 2024 before being delayed to its current date of February 14, 2025.
In the trailer Anthony Mackie’s solo debut as Captain America continues on from the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It sees him tasked with forming a new Avengers team by newly-elected US president Thaddeus Ross
First-look images were unveiled for the sequel in April 2024. Most excitingly for fans, the trailer ends with a tease of Red Hulk, long rumoured for the movie.
Cast and Crew;
Directed by Julius Onah, Captain America: Brave New World stars Shira Haas as superhero Sabra, while Giancarlo Esposito, Rosa Salazar, Seth Rollins and Xosha Roquemore have been cast in undisclosed roles.
The new movie brings back Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres from the TV show, but there are also unexpected returns from the MCU’s past.
Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson are reprising their roles from The Incredible Hulk as Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns, respectively.
The story is written by Dalan Musson, Mathew Orton, and Malcolm Spellman.
