Set in the picturesque locales of the UK, Black Bag is a darkly twisted and pulpy spy-action-thriller drama film. It follows a happily married couple named George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbender) and his wife Kathryn (Cate Blanchett). They live a contented life in the city. However, a recurring sequence of unfortunate events upended their married life into dangerous chaos. The fabricated veil of lies and silences wherein the couple has hidden their confidential careers as spies from each other starts becoming tougher to cope with. If this is not enough, then George and Kathryn, who work as spies inside a British intelligence – society, get accidentally involved in a fatal and life-threatening secret that also includes those skilled and adept ones who are also a part of the agency and their colleagues at the same ranks as them.
