The talented actress just had a successful release with Amazon as ‘The Idea of You’ where she was seen in a raunchy role, making her glittering comeback.
The news was confirmed by Deadline, who reported that Anne Hathaway will also reunite with ‘The Idea Of You’ director Michael Showalter for the upcoming production. The Amazon production is planned for release in theatres just like Colleen Hoover’s controversial adaptation ‘It Ends With Us’ starring Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, Brandon Skelener in the leads. The movie amidst several backlash and promotions that were subjects of numerous internet commotion, brought in 346 Million USD worldwide.
‘Verity’ plot
The movie surrounds Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who gets a huge deal that will help her lift her monetary lid with the offer of finishing Verity Crawford, a successful thriller writer’s unfinished works. Verity’s husband Jeremy Crawford and their younger son Crew intercept Lowen’s job, ensuing several questions, unravelling past mysteries. Lowen soon questions whether Verity’s works are just fictional or is she trying to convey an ominous warning of sorts to watch the young writer’s back in the Crawford’s Estate. Amazon hired the Emmy nominated director Michael Showalter along with Nick Antosco working on the drafting of the current script for the movie adaptation, who also is producing the project with Alex Hedlund. Showalter is also one of the producers along with Anne Hathaway and Colleen Hoover and Shiny Penny Stacey Sher.
