We are diving into the world of Westeros again as the Game of Thrones spinoff series ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ is set for premiering in the Summer of 2025. First announced by Warner Bros streaming chief JB Perrette as per Variety that George RR Martin’s creation is being adapted as a drama series.

‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ is adapted from Martin’s ‘The Tales of Dunk and Egg’ is produced by HBO Entertainment as the channel is retaining their rights of adaptation, greenlighting the drama series revolving around the stories adventurous tales of Ser Duncan the Tall and Aegon ‘Egg’ Targaryen. These two unlikely duo’s travel across the kingdoms is now set 100 years prequel from Game of Thrones and will introduce several Targaryens and the political climate prior to the adored series.
The first season of ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ will contain 6 Episodes and will mark the third series based on the acclaimed author’s imagination following Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon. The post production for the upcoming 2025 series is taking less than a year, it is being made in less time than the House of the Dragon production, which is up for a third season in 2026.
