Actor Karan Veer Mehra fell in love with his school day crush Devika. They had been dating for almost 10 years and the togetherness made them get married at the right time. Initially, their relationship gave a shock to both of their families but they got the green signal which led to a simple temple wedding with close relatives. He didn’t showcase his relationship with Devika in front of social media and his fans. His sudden marriage startled his female fans. He had shared a lot of memories about his former better-half in an interview.
“It just happened! We’d been dating for almost 10 years and it was bound to happen sooner or later. Then on the eve of Valentine’s Day that year, I was talking to an old friend who suggested I should just pop the question to Devika. I did just that and she said a yes!
Living together is like a honeymoon. We’ve stopped fighting as much! It feels like a live-in relationship except that we’ve got the approval of our parents. We’ve both become more responsible, we share our interests with each other and of course, spend as much time as we can together.”
The couple were becoming the ideal role model for a husband and wife relationship but the dream and love shattered in 2018. Neither Devika nor Karan has revealed what was the cause of the divorce. But he had shared a glimpse of reasons behind his divorce with Devika that “Maybe we were not made for each other”. After the divorce it was reported that he went through tough times which were occupied with alcohol and depression.
Karan married the television actress Nidhi Seth in 2021 but this relationship also lost the hold and ended in a divorce in 2023. Nidhi set the social media on fire with her statement about his marriage with Ex-husband.

“That was the biggest mistake of my life. Once I realised that things weren’t working out, I decided to move. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough awareness in this world about certain personality traits and behaviour which can ruin relationships. We had separated a year ago. I believe that daily fights are intolerable in a relationship. And in such a situation, we can never live together.
Mental Peace, respect for each other, honesty and being financially capable are essential in a marriage.” said Nidhi Seth.
The words and rumours for divorces were shuffling and travelling around the social media about his broken personal life with his two wives. He was accused of raising hands over his wives that was one of the reasons for his divorces. Karan’s statement in BB 18 has made a full stop to all these allegations. While he was conversing with his housemates he stated that,
“Yes, I had two divorces but have never raised my hand on any of my two ex-wives. There were arguments and everything, but I never chose violence.
When a breakup happens, we both blame each other. Then after a few years, I realised that, yes, it was my mistake too. I am one among them who maintain relationships. As everyone knows, I am a player of “Khatron Ke Khiladi” so I won’t get a girlfriend, I will directly get married.”
