Mumbai saw a glamorous evening yesterday, Wednesday, 19th June, 2024 as the star studded cast of Kalki 2898 AD was present for the pre release event of the film. From Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Ranna Daggubati to Big B every actor made their presence felt. But the most memorable event of the evening was when Big B touched the film’s producer Aswini Dutt’s feet.
Amitabh Bachchan touched Aswini Dutt feet
When the producer of the film, Aswini Dutt got on stage, Amitabh Bachchan went on to the mic and spoke about him. He went on to say, “He’s the owner of Vyjayanthi Films along with his two daughters (Swapna and Priyanka) and I have never met a more simple man, and a humble human being than Aswini. Every time on set, he is the first person to be there and he will ensure you are protected. No one would think like this.” After that he said, “with all due respect” before touching Aswini’s feet who also touched Big B’s feet in return.

Aswini Dutt is one of the biggest producers in Tollywood and established Vyjayanthi Films in 1974. He has three daughters Swapna, Priyanka and Sravanthi. The former 2 worked alongside him under Swapna Cinema. Swapna Dutt inherited Swapna Cinema from Aswini Dutt and has been working with him since while Priyanka is married to Nag Ashwin, who is the director of Kalki 2898 AD.
Aswini Dutt has been producing movies and has supported talented actors such as Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, NT Rama Rao, Sobhan Babu, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun to name a few throughout these years.
After hitting a rough patch when his film Sakhti didn’t do well in 2011, he took a break from the film set and came back with a bang in 2017 with Mahanati.
