One of the few most interesting and unique talents of Bollywood, actor Vikrant Massey has announced his indecisive hiatus from acting from 2025, leaving his fans and colleagues in a state of shock. The actor had a fabulous couple of years as a leading actor and getting some of the most remarkable roles, which leads to the question of his retirement from acting.
The ‘12th Fail’ actor has taken it to his Instagram with a note that read that, “So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted.” The post doesn’t give away much of a reason behind the actor’s decision but mentions that he is recalibrating and intends to focus on his family as a husband, father and a son, also as an actor.
This announcement left the fans startled as Massey has just started capturing the audience and stepping up with successful movie releases, especially the last two that he himself mentioned in the post- Sector 36 and The Sabarmati Report. It is also to be noted that last year, Massey’s collaboration with Vidhu Vinod Chopra in ‘12th Fail’ grabbed world wide attention and was acclaimed as one of the best movies of the year.
