After winning the hearts of audiences with songs like Lover, Ik Kudi, Hass Hass, Kinni Kinni, and many more, today Diljit Dosanjh is a globally revered and prominent pop icon who has brought Punjabi pop music to the forefront globally. He is a musical sensation loved across the globe.
Interestingly, he is one of the greatest artists who not only represents Indian music globally but is single-handedly dominating the Punjabi and pop music industry. He is a name that needs no further introduction. But, of late, seems like troubles are always following the ‘Naina’ singer as his name is in headlines for all controversial reasons.
As per several news reports, after the Delhi concert at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium last month, which received backlash because of faulty mismanagement by organizers and also for Dosanjh singing songs that promoted drugs and alcohol, it seems like troubles are never-ending for Diljit Dosanjh. As per several reports by news publications, the Telangana government has officially issued a legal notice to organizers. In the notice, the government has shared that songs that promote drugs, alcohol, and violence on a massive scale shall not be performed by the ‘Chamkila’ star.

For those unaware, Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Hyderabad is a part of his Dil-Luminati tour to 10 cities across India.
Based on an official complaint from a resident of Chandigarh, this legal notice has been disseminated officially by the District Welfare Officer of the Department of Welfare of Women and Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens, Rangareddy.
As per the official notice given by the government, it effectively prohibits Dosanjh from singing songs that talk about drugs, alcohol, and violence, during his much-awaited live concert that will commence in Cyberabad on November 15. It also does not allow ‘Lover’ hitmaker to use children in any form or manner while on the stage. It denotes how loud sounds and bright flashing lights are very dangerous and fatal, especially for small children.
