On the occasion of Suriya’s birthday on July 23, the team of his upcoming film referred to as ‘Suriya 44’ teaser has been released. The promo of Sukkalyanam was directed by Karthik Subbaraj in which Suriya was seen in a don get-up.
This one minute and 37 seconds video starts with the text ‘somewhere in the sea’ and the viewers get to see scenes where the goons are at a place called ‘Royal Estate. ‘Suriya is then introduced as ‘The One’ where he is seen taking a puff of the cigarette and holding a gun while his group of men are beside him. The actor is depicted with blood stains on the face which ought to prepare one on the violent nature of the film.

Subbaraj posted the teaser on Twitter and wrote a caption mentioning ‘Happiest Birthday SURIYA’ on it.
Star-Studded Cast
The shooting of this film was started in June and along with Prabhas, Pooja Hegde will be in the female lead role. Known actors and actresses are playing the central characters of the movie, including Jayaram, Karunakaran, Joju George and so on.
