A deserving movie to be watched by the audience, ‘Savi’ is currently ranking No.1 on Netflix. Savi is an adaptation of the 2008 French film ‘Anything for Her.’ Starring Divya Khosla, who did a vivid job with her performance as Savitri (Savi), the show also features Anil Kapoor in the interesting role of Joydeep Paul, an ex-convict. The story begins with Savi’s husband, Nakul (Harshvardhan Rane), being accused of murdering his boss at a construction company in Liverpool. Divya Khosla, convinced of Nakul’s innocence, makes a bold decision to mastermind Nakul’s escape from Liverpool jail. In the second half, the movie builds up thrilling scenes as Savi, with the help of Paul, confuses the Liverpool police to save her husband and secure their son’s future from this mishap.
The movie is engaging at times but could have been better executed, as it did average on the cinematography angle. However, Divya Khosla’s performance is well appreciated, and Anil Kapoor was not far behind. Harshvardhan Rane delivered a decent performance as Nakul. Savi is without no doubt a one-time watch.
