Amar Singh Chamkila
Better known as Chamkila, Amar Singh was an Indian Singer and Punjabi musician. He was known for his high ranging vocals, vivid language, and novel compositions. He was also known as Elvis of Punjab and was a live stage performer. He died at a very young age of 27 on 8th March 1988. His songs are influenced by Punjabi village folklore.
His most popular songs include Tauke te Tauka, Pehle Lalkare Naal, and Baba Tera Nankana.
Daler Mehndi
Daler Singh better known as Daler Mehndi is a famous singer, producer, songwriter and author from Punjab. Born in Patna, Bihar his voice made an instant hit in bollywood. Besides recording for bollywood films, he is known for his dance numbers, and pop music. He is also the elder brother of Mika Singh.
Mika Singh
Mika singh is an Indian Rapper, singer, musician and actor. He has quite a number of hits in bollywood including Ibn e Batuta, Bas ek King, Dhanno, and Mauja hi Mauja among other songs. He also sung the song Hookah Bar in Khiladi 786 starring Akhshay Kumar.
He has appeared in many tv and reality shows and has many solo albums as well. He is the brother of Daler Mehndi. Mika’s song Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag was remixed and played by US based singer Pinky Paras.
Gurdas Mann
Born in 1957 in Punjab, Mann is the sole singer from the state who has won a Best male Playback Singer of the Year Award at the 54th National Filmfare Awards. He is one of the most remarkable singers in the Punjabi music industry. He gained national attention for his song “Dil da Mamla hai”. He has 35 albums and written more than 300 songs since then.
He has performed in MTV Coke Studio India with Diljith Dosanjh in 2013.
Diljith Dosanjh
Diljith is an entertainer, performer and Singer hailing from Punjab. He works in both bollywood and punjabi film industry. He has been in films like Udta Punjab along with stars like Shahid Kapoor. He has done major roles in Jatt and Juliet, Ambarsariya, Sardar Ji – 1&2. His voice is soothing and one of the most followed artists belonging from this generation.
His top songs include 5 Taara, Ik Kudi, Raat Di Gedi.
Harshdeep Kaur
Born and brought up in Delhi, she is better known as Sufi ki Sultana. Harshdeep is known for her Punjabi, Hindi and Sufi songs. She has been ruling Bollywood after winning two TV reality shows and has judged quite a few of them too. She has featured in platforms like Coke Studio India.
Her top tracks include Zaalima from Raees, Dilbaro from Raazi and Kabira from YJHD.
Guru Randhawa
Gurusharanjot Singh Randhawa better known as Guru Randhawa is an Indian singer, music composer and songwriter. He has quite established his name in the Punjabi and Hindi Film Industry along with Indi pop. He made his bollywood playback debut through the song Suit Karda in the film Hindi Medium. His top songs include Patola, Lahore, Surma Surma.
Besides pursuing music as a career, he has a bachelors from Indian Institute of Planning and Management and a Masters in Business Administration.
Yo Yo Honey Singh
Hirdesh Singh aka Honey Singh is an Indian rapper, singer and songwriter. He is known as the person who introduced Pop and Rap music in India. He has numerous solo albums and bollywood hits under his belt and is one of the most followed and loved popstars in India. His top tracks include Blue Eyes, Brown Rang, Lungi Dance, and Break Up Party among others.
Jassie Gill
Jassie Singh Gill, popularly known as Jassie Gill was born in 1988 in Ludhiana, Punjab. He is an actor and singer who has achieved fame in Bollywood and Punjabi Film Industry likewise. He did start with Mr and Mrs 420 in Punjabi film industry in 2014 and was in Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi in bollywood 4 years later. He has a worldwide fanbase and has hits ranging in romance, bhangra and pop genre.

Amrinder Gill
Amrinder Singh Gill was born in 1976. He graduated from Khalsa College in Amritsar and was more interested in Punjabi music and Bhangra. Before fully coming into music he worked in a bank but was not satisfied with the job. His debut album named Apne Jaan Ke came out in 2000. He is now an established singer and musician in the Punjabi Music Industry and a public favourite.
His tracks include Dooriyan, Judaa, Dildariyan, and Tu Juda.
