The Madhya Pradesh beauty Nikita Porwal is the newest delightful addition to a line of Femina Miss India titles with her being crowned as the winner of 2024. She was honoured at the 60th edition of Femina Miss India held at Famous Studios in Mumbai, beating 29 fellow beauties.
Nikita Porwal along with 29 contestants from each of the States and Union Territories competed for the 2024 Femina Miss India Crown which was passed on to Nikita Porwal from the former Miss India 2023 Nandhini Gupta from Rajasthan.
Who is Nikita Porwal?
Nikita Porwal born in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh has fully embodies the prospects of rich historical values of her native and has been working towards progress all her life. Her early life was typical with focus on education while she was also interested in being on stage, cultivating her ideas and interests into arts.
She did her early education at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Bhopal and got the initial confidence of pursuing her interests both in education and her potential on stage. She continued with higher education at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda where she stepped up to showcase her talents on and off stage.
Acting Career
Nikita Porwal started her acting career in theatre with a solid experience of more than 60+ plays under her belt and also is a talented playwright who has written a 250 pages play, titled ‘Krishna Leela’. Her background in theatre gave her the sufficient push towards film acting where she found international appreciation.
Her advent into film acting has already begun with an untitled docu- film that has been a part of many international film festivals. Her poised and elegant look in the film captivated the audience, even before her recent fame. Nikita has also shared her acting goals of working with notable filmmakers such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, setting her future path sharp and clear.
Her interests and advocacy
Nikita Porwal has been sound in advocating for Animal Welfare with stray rescuing. Being an artist herself has a self reflecting aspect in her, whose ideology of “Be a life that matters, a loss that’s felt ” is clearly reflected in her compassion towards animals.
Nikita has also been vocal about drafting funds for Empowerment of Tribal Women, which she also did as a part of her Femina Miss India Campaign. Her other interests being writing, reading and meditation that helps her mindfulness and growth as she has mentioned.
Future Prospects
Nikita Porwal has proven her grit and determination graced with elegance that she is ready for international recognition. By winning the Femina Miss India 2024, Nikita is set forth to contest for the upcoming Miss World Pageantry, representing India.
About Femina Miss India
This 2024 Femina Miss India included a round of state selection, followed by regional selection and those who are selected from each state are included in the boot camp for proper media training, interviews and photoshoots.
