When is National Cinema Day 2024?
Mark your calendars! National Cinema Day 2024 will take place on the 20th of September in 2024. It is always held on the third Friday of September and therefore one doesn’t have to struggle to recall the date.
Here’s the exciting part: on National Cinema Day you can go to the cinema and see any movie for only ₹99! No, you are not reading wrong – you can watch any movie of your choice in any language for a mere ₹ 99 at any multiplex in India. How to get your ₹99 Tickets

1. Booking Online:
- Go to websites like Book My Show or PVR Cinemas or any other sites like Paytm, INOX, Cinepolis, or Carnival.
- Select your city and the movie you want to see
- Choose date: September 20 2024
- You can choose your seats and pay your money.
2. Buy at the Theater:
- Visit any of the participating cinemas on 20 September 2024
- Go to the ticket office
- Get the tickets at ₹99 – enquire about it
However, if you book online you may have to incur some extra costs such as GST or booking fees. Purchasing at the theater might make you escape these additional expenses.
Important Things to Know
- This offer can only be availed for shows that will be on the 20th of September 2024.
- You can go to any movie that is being aired in the theater on that day
- It is valid for all normal sizes but not for special ones such as 3D or reclining.
- Over 4000 screens across the length and breadth of India are participating and this includes PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival and the list goes on.
