Mirzapur when released in 2018 was highly celebrated with fans perpetually rejoicing the second and third seasons. Now the creators have decided to give the fans a little more by announcing Mirzapur The Film, following numerous fan speculation about the making.
Frahan Akhtar, one of the producers of the original Mirzapur taken to his socials the announcement with the stars of Mirzapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Abishek Banerjee, Divyendu Sharma teasing the fans of the upcoming Mirzapur The Film.
The cast in their signature Mirzapur style revealed the news of making the beloved series into a movie. The cast asked the fans to step out of their comfortable homes and go to the theatres to watch Mirzapur The Film. Farhan Akhtar posted the announcement with the caption, “Now the space will be bigger and so will the curtain”.

This subsequent film is the same crew, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and written by Puneeth Krishna and directed by Gurmeet Singh. While the cast is also required to follow up the plot, the teaser video with a surprise element of Divyendu Sharma returning to the franchise and also a new addition of Abishek Banerjee.
