1. Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram
Following Hrithik Roshan moving out of Tiwari’s Ramayana for unconfirmed reasons, Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly set to play Lord Ram and is likely to quit alcohol and meat to prepare.

2. Sai Pallavi as Sita
Prominent for her roles in ‘Premam’ and ‘Athiran’, Sai Pallavi has been finalised for the role of Goddess Sita. She has predominantly been a part of the Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam industries.
3. Indira Krishnan as Kausalya
Indira Krishnan has been chosen to essay the role of Kausalya. The actress has delivered notable performances in films like Tere Naam and daily soaps like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.
4. Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha
If reports are to be believed, Rakul Preet Singh is the latest one to join the bandwagon. She is likely to play the role of Ravana’s sister Shurpanakha in the triology.
5. Vijay Sethupathi as Vibhishan
The makers of Ramayana 2025 have apparently approached the Tamil superstar for the role of Vibhishan. Vijay Sethupathi was recently seen alongside Katrina Kaif in Merry Christmas.
6. Bobby Deol as Kumbhakarna
Media reports suggest that Bobby Deol has been asked to play ‘Kumbhakarna’ in the project. But an official announcement on the same is awaited.
7. Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi
Reportedly, Lara Dutta has been offered the pivotal role of Princess Kaikeyi, the third consort of King Dasharatha. The Miss Universe 2000 has expressed excitement for the project.
8. Ravi Dubey as Laxman
Earlier reports suggested Naveen Polishetty has been offered the notable role of Lord Laxman. But the latest reports imply television celebrity Ravi Dubey has been selected to be a part.
9. Arun Govil as Dasharatha
Immensely prominent for portraying Lord Rama in the Ramayan TV series (1987-1988) by Ramanand Sagar, Arun Govil is likely all set to play the role of King Dasharatha this time.
10. Sunny Deol as Hanuman
Sunny Deol already has a number of projects lined up after the grand success of Gada 2. If reports hold truth, he has also been roped in to play the role of Lord Hanuman.
11. Yash as Ravan
It is said that Yash has already taken up several look tests, post which he has been finalised for the pivotal role of Ravan. He enjoys a massive fan base for his performance in the KGF saga.
