Titled GoldFish and presented by Anurag Kashyap, the film is directed by Pushan Kripalani and produced by Splendid Films Production and Amit Saxena. The plot follows a mother and daughter who share a strained bond with each other. This mother-daughter duo does not get along with each other at all. They are totally poles apart and distinct from each other, just like chalk and cheese. Because of the terrible global outbreak of COVID-19, this duo has to stay together.
Moreover, the daughter’s mother is suffering from a painful and deteriorating condition of Dementia. Because of this, the mother slowly starts to forget her precious memories of many pivotal things that have been a part of her life. As the mother’s condition deteriorates daily, the daughter recollects all their bitter-sweet childhood memories together and only weeps a lot. Later, the mother-daughter duo weep, laugh, express all hidden and bottled-up feelings, and give each other a string of cuss and slang words.
