Highlights
The IIFA Rocks 2024 is part of the IIFA Festival which culminated in a splendid event on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. This fabulous evening can be described as a music and glamour show, dedicated to the main landmarks of the Indian cinema and its stars, both heroes and creators.
A Night of Great Performers
The star-studded night hosted by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Abhishek Banerjee had the most deserving talents showcasing their musical talent on the stage.
The celebration began with the musical group of Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Having been in the industry for three decades, they took their fans through old familiar songs as well as the latest compositions. What they did was they presented a chronology of Bollywood music, that was, how the music had evolved over the years
After this act was performed by the incredibly talented Shilpa Rao who sang a mixture of songs that got the crowd dancing. Rao immediately moved from one number to another – from slow, sweet, soft numbers to fast, peppy songs which proved the versatility that has brought Rao to be one of the favorite playback singers in the Indian movie industry.
The energy was up when Honey Singh came to perform. With his combination of rap and Bollywood music hits, Singh got the crowd singing and dancing to popular songs and his enigmatic stage performance.
Joining Lulia Vantur was a touch of elegance for the evening. Her performance increased the event’s elegance and class after the powerful performance of other singing stars on the stage.
