Shoojit Sarcar is back playing his strengths of toying with soulful, heart warming emotions with his upcoming movie ‘I Want To Talk’ headlined by Abhishek Bachchan. A movie about a man who Lives to talk but has to undergo a life- altering surgery only to open his own mental demons. Abhishek Bachchan once again easily moulds himself into the character of Arjun, not just physically and resonates the warmth of fatherhood.
‘I Want To Talk’ immediately clings to the heart with mesmerising visuals, presenting tough pills first as Abhishek is seen consulting a doctor for his vocal chords, fearing a surgery. Several slices of Abhishek’s past and present convulse together painting a succinct picture of a soothing plot.
Chalked up as a single father, Abhishek’s rapport with his daughter played by debutant Ahilya Bamroo grounds the narrative, leaving a conversant residual of emotions, a known association from Shoojit Sarcar’s filmography.
Get Ready for Azaad: Exciting Teaser Unveils Aaman Devgan, Rasha Thadani, and Ajay Devgn
A deep trailer that is direct, opens up with a statement that oils the brains, “Every Story has a purpose and meaning, (My) focus is to say sorry to all those I’ve hurt. And for purpose, I don’t know” vocalises Arjun. The teaser resembles a piece of Shoojit Sarcar’s past movies Pa and October but is also multi-layered to presume now.
The trailer continues with Johnny Lever’s situational humour and others in character jabs triggering a chuckle, an usual aspect of Sarcar’s while the protagonist is stuck, in Arjun’s case, fishing for answers to his ‘What Ifs’. The feel – good ‘I Want To Talk’ is definitely one to watch out for, set to release on 22 November, 2024.
