Indian rapper and singer Honey Singh has recently come out in front of .media about his widely discussed divorce with his former wife Shalini Talwar. In November 2023, a Delhi court granted the former couple a divorce after mutual settlement. Prior to finalising the separation, the court gave the option of reconsidering whether they would continue the marriage. The rapper stated continuing the marriage served no purpose.
Along with that, Singh addressed rumours regarding his personal life, particularly the speculation about his relation with actress Heera Sohhal. Before this, Honey Singh was in a relationship with model Tina Thadani before marrying Shalini and separating from her.
Heera Sohal, who was seen at Singh’s concert last year in Mumbai, raised the suspicion that they may be dating each other.
Honey Singh on Divorce with Shalini Talwar:
In an interview Singh reported, challenging the periods in his personal life. He said, “While shooting in Los Angeles, Sonakshi and I had a long discussion about marriage. I was going through a rough patch in my own marriage, and I confided in her about it. She shared her views on what marriage really means, even though she wasn’t married back then. I could see in her eyes that she deeply understood the importance of a marital relationship, even though she thought she herself hadn’t been married yet. So, when her wedding day finally came, I remembered our conversation and was genuinely happy for her”, he said.
Regarding his divorce, Honey Singh revealed that he was not emotionally impacted by the separation. He explained that the events unfolded unexpectedly and noted that his health began to improve following the split. The rapper said, after the separation, he experienced a significant recovery, with a reduction in his medication and symptoms.
Honey Singh Dating Heera Sohhal:
When asked about if there is a new partner in the Singer’s life, Honey Singh responded in his characteristic laid back manner, stating that many relationships come and go. He currently doesn’t have a girlfriend, though he is socialising very much and has a lot of friends.
When asked about Heera Sohhal, he said that he is more concerned with the work now but gave a signature blush that revealed there might be more to it with maybe a sign of a relationship might be just round the corner.
