Renowned television actress Hina Khan has divulged that she is battling Stage 3 breast cancer. Hina shared her diagnosis and expressed her determination to overcome the disease in an emotional Instagram post on Friday afternoon. Her emotional note read, “I’m determined and truly committed to overcoming this disease.”

An outpouring of support and well-wishes from her friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry flooded the comment section following Hina’s announcement. Hina started her career with Rajan Shahi’s longest running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, as the lead protagonist Akshara. Her portrayal of Akshara earned her love and appreciation from audiences . Later she played the role of wamp Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2. She also appeared in reality shows Bigg Boss 11 and Khatron ke Khiladi 8, where she emerged as the first runner up in both the reality shows. Her film credits include Hacked, Country of Blind, Lines , Smartphones , Wishlist and recent blockbuster Shinda Shinda No Papa. Recently, she starred in the second season of web series Damaged 2.
