Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Ghamasaan’ to screen at Cinevesture International Film Festival 2025

The second edition of the Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF) is happening in Chandigarh from March 20 to 23. The event promises a dynamic celebration of independent storytelling, artistic excellence and global cinema.

In 2024, CIFF’s first edition became a great success, noting of footfall of more than 1,000 delegates. Situated at the foothills of the Himalayas, Chandigarh’s understanding of art and design has been a springboard for the first and second editions of CIFF.

Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Ghamasaan’ ruling hearts in premiere

Tigmanshu Dhulia brought us a stunning project just recently. Starring Pratik Gandhi and Arshad Warsi and produced by Jio Studios, Golden Ratio Films and Vistas Media Capital, the director’s ‘Ghamasaan’ released in theatres on October 20, 2024.

‘Ghamasaan‘ is a cat-and-mouse tale that sees men on both sides of justice traversing arid lands. The film’s screening at MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024 gained a lot of attention from the audience.

Claps could be heard not just at the end of the screening but also during the film in multiple key scenes. Both Pratik and Arshad attended the gala premiere of the film, besides director Tigmanshu and actor Ishita Dutta.

Cinevesture International Film Festival 2025 selection

The second edition of Cinevesture International Film Festival is going to present an eclectic mix of celebrated films from across the globe, regional Indian cinema and hidden local gems from Haryana and Punjab, too.

CIFF 2025 is going to feature ‘A Normal Family’ directed by Hur Jin-ho. You can also find a special screening of the Punjabi short film ‘The Cycle’ and Oscar 2025 recipient ‘Emilia Perez’, starring Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez.
