Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions released a teaser for ‘Fatah’ on Monday, marking prolific actor Sonu Sood’s journey into film direction. The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah.
Fateh, the lead character, is an ex-special ops operative. He has left his past behind him, devoting himself to starting a tranquil life in Punjab. But he fails to continue his peaceful days as a local girl falls victim to the cyber mafia and goes missing in Delhi.
The mystery man emerges from his self-imposed retirement, determined to tactfully handle the entire cyber mafia syndicate. So far, the teaser has already been seen more than 219,000 times. Netizens appear thrilled to catch on to all the fun.
Fateh teaser release: Stellar cast and high-quality production
Sonu Sood is joined by a stellar cast, featuring Jacqueline Fernandez and Naseeruddin Shah. The production features meticulous action sequences coordinated by some of the most prominent technicians globally, such as Federico Berte of ‘Cobra Kai’ fame.

Sonu Sood’s directorial debut and philanthropy
Sonu Sood has appeared in a number of films such as ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Kung Fu Yoga’. He has appeared in different roles across the Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada-language cinema industries. But there is one more reason behind his popularity.
Sood gained a lot of recognition for his humanitarian efforts during the pandemic. He played a substantial role in organising transportation and medical resources for thousands of migrants. He is an actor, film producer, model, humanitarian and philanthropist.
In July 2016, he established the production house Shakti Sagar Productions. It is named after his father, Shakti Sagar Sood. In September 2020, the UN Development Programme chose him for a prestigious humanitarian action recognition for his efforts.
