However, this wasn’t the first time Diljit grabbed headlines. In 2023, Diljit became the first Indian artist to perform at Coachella, one of the largest music festivals of the world. dressed in all black Punjabi attire, DIjit delighted the crowd at Coachella with hits like “Lemonade,” “G.O.A.T .,” and “Patiala Peg” was a historic moment for Punjabi music on the global stage. A video of his performance, featuring American DJ Diplo grooving to his beats, went viral, further solidifying his international acclaim.
Though not a formal collaboration, Ed Sheeran too has found himself wrapped up in the undeniable charm of Diljit’s music. The musical powerhouses belted out Diljit’s “Lover ” at Ed Sheeran’s Mumbai concert in March.
