The expectations were high since Koratala Siva is the director and he has worked with NTR Jr. before, and Dharma Productions of Karan Johar is also on board to handle the North India theatrical rights.

Even before its trailer release, Devara: In part 1, record breaking of pre-sale tickets was achieved with more than 35000+ tickets sold in North America and 30000+ tickets in US alone. The songs in its trailer include Dheere Dheere and Fear, which has also received positive response from the audience, which is expected to help in bolstering the anticipation for the film’s release on September 27, 2024.
