Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan’s Devara Part 1 has been released and within the opening weekend has ranked in ₹275 crore at the international box office. The movie, directed by Koratala Siva, has done better than many Hollywood movies and is now the second highest-grossing film in the world this weekend. The Telugu action film has produced the needed impact in the Indian film industry as well as the international market.
A Record-Breaking Opening
Devara Part 1 was released on September 27 and it earned ₹172 crore on its opening day. It earned ₹275 crore worldwide in its first weekend and became the second-highest-grossing film in the world over the weekend. It was only beaten by the animated movie The Wild Robot, and Devara even gave more impressions than Hollywood movies like Beetlejuice and Transformers One

In India, Devara Part 1 performed exceptionally well at the box office, earning 161 crore net in the first weekend. Film has had a definite uptrend with ₹5 crore rise in domestic collection on Sunday taking the total to ₹40 crore. Even the official numbers coming directly from makers suggest that Devara is well on its way to achieving a worldwide total of more than ₹300 crore, although trade websites such as Sacilk may provide slightly lower projections. However, there is no doubt that the film is successful.

The stupendous response to Devara Part 1 once again establishes the fact that Jr NTR is a box office magnet. Jr NTR one of the most popular and passionate actors in Tollywood has a huge fan following and has added stars to the movie which is now a blockbuster.
