In its second week in theatres on Sunday, Crew earned a good collection of 5.70 crores from foreign countries as the movie is getting a positive response from the audience. The movie clashed with Prithviraj Sukumaran’s movie Aadujivitham– The Goat Life and did better than this movie at the Box Office and surpassed Vijay Devrakonda’s Telugu film ‘Family Star’ which is still in its first week. This female centric movie is facing a tough clash with the Hollywood movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire which has earned Rs.6.25 crore.
It’s noteworthy that Crew is the only fifth movie of Bollywood to cross the Rs.100 Crore mark this year. The crew has secured fifth position of highly grossed Bollywood movies including Fighter with a collection of 358.39 Crores, Shaitaan with a collection of 201.65 Crores, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya with a collection of 141.29 Crores and Article 370 with the collection of 104.6. Big-budget movies especially with male actors as lead are failing to entertain the audience because of which the Box Office collection of many movies is not doing well. The success of the this movie starring female leads has proved to be a masterpiece movie of this year.
