A Landmark Collaboration
There is much joy for Bobby Deol in his journey to be part of Thalapathy 69 and this is his second Tamil movie after Kanguva. Tamil cinema’s megastar with over thirty-five movies to his credit, Vijay will be joining Bobby in this venture. The news was shared on the official pages of KVN Productions on social networks, where the authors of the project also shared their joy about this unconventional partnership.

Bobby is a newcomer now he is working in Bollywood and now he is also entering into south Indian films. Bobby’s second Tamil film will be Thalapathy 69 after his movie Kanguva. His debut in Tamil cinema has already attracted a lot of attention more so with this high-profile venture. Bobby has also got his foot in South Indian films particularly Telugu films in Hari Hara Veera Mallu and NBK 109.
Vijay’s Final Film Before Politics
As the number one star in Tamil cinema for more than thirty-five years, earlier this year Vijay declared he was entering politics with the formation of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. While people predicted that The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) would be his last movie, Vijay decided to do one more film which is Thalapathy 69. Tipped to be political, the movie is to be directed by H. Vinoth and will have Vijay in the lead role as the ‘bearer of democracy torch’.

Vijay who made his debut with Naalaiya Theerpu in 1992 became one of the leading stars of today’s Tamil films such as Ghilli, Kushi, Coimbatore Mappillai, etc. As he steps into politics, Thalapathy 69 is likely to be a film of much importance in his film career and political career. The music for the film will be given by Anirudh Ravichander, who is famous for giving chartbuster music. The film is expected to be released in October 2025 and is anticipated to create much hoopla in the Indian film market.
