Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the most awaited horror-comedy film starring Kartik Aaryan has entered the theatres and set a high sales record, leaving all behind. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and also stars veterans Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri if it brings back the iconic Manjulika character after all these years, played by Vidya Balan. The film released on 1st November, Friday received a good response, in most shows the occupancy was cross 80% on the first day of the movie’s release.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is already off to a fantastic start as it collected ₹ 35.50 crore on the opening day of Friday and shattered the industry’s early estimates of ₹20-25 crore. Trade analysts were pleasantly stunned because the opening day collections put Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on the list of successful opening films of the year. While some of the comments are not very positive, the brand image of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa series and the star power of Kartik Aaryan must have played a part in today’s collections.
Day 2: Tracking a Bumper Performance – 15.51 Crore
Saturday collections are already adding to the momentum. On the second day, the film crossed ₹15.51 crore till 2 pm and made a total collection of ₹51.01 crore. A large part of it comes from morning shows, and since evening and night shows have not started yet, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is heading for a record day two. The good turnout simply goes to show that the fanbase for the movie is growing beyond Kartik’s stans interested in seeing Vidya Balan again as Manjulika in the third part.
