Celebrated by millions of Muslims across the globe, Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the month-long fasting of Ramadan. The upcoming Islamic holiday promises to be a more happening one as at least a couple of notable movies are set to hit the big screen on that day.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles, and ‘Maidaan‘, starring Ajay Devgn and others, have got the same theatrical release date (Thursday) as the former’s makers have decided to push the release by a day.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the highly-anticipated project is based on an interesting plot of elite soldiers teaming up to recover a stolen weapon from a masked madman seeking to destroy India. Can Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan preserve the day, despite their contrasting personalities?

In another development, Kumar and Shroff have taken to Instagram to give their fans a glimpse of their recent visit to UAE’s BAPS Hindu Mandir. The stars travelled to the Emirates to promote their film and took a break from promotions to offer prayers at the holy site.

The video getting viral on social media begins with Kumar and Shroff falling on the priest’s feet before entering the temple. Dressed in traditional outfits, they offered their prayers to the several deities in the site. You can find more details on the same in the embedded post below.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the BAPS Hindu Mandir on February 14. The majestic structure highlights UAE’s commitment to tolerance and diversity, and has been attracting a sizeable number of visitors from different faiths and backgrounds.

The temple brings into limelight a meticulously designed facade, featuring seven spires representing each emirate of the UAE. It features pink sandstone from Rajasthan and marble from Italy. Engineers have also taken the Gulf state’s climate into consideration.
