The Veteran Hindi actor Amitabh Bachchan tops the list of Highest Tax Paying actors in 2024- 2025 year, by paying ₹ 120 Crores in Tax. The versatile actor known for being a sincere tax payer and a disciplinarian, earned ₹ 350 Crores and is reported to have paid his final advance payment of ₹ 52.5 Crore on Saturday, 15 March 2025.
The actor has surpassed the prior record holder – Shah Rukh Khan who paid ₹ 92 Crores in 2024. Last year Big B was in the top 5 Tax Payers, holding the fourth spot and now became the highest tax payer in 2025 by paying 30% higher than SRK. The list also has Tamil actor turned Politician and the highest earning actor in India, Vijay holds the third spot and paid ₹ 80 Crore who is followed by actor Salman Khan who paid ₹ 75 Crores.

The 82 year old actor is ceaselessly working taking up roles as TV Host, Supporting actor and doing advertisements. As a host of KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati) for several seasons and has been reported by Times of India, earned ₹ 5 Crore per episode in his latest edition. The reality quiz game show is now booted for its 17th season which is confirmed to be hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
On his acting front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen beside Rajnikanth in ‘Vettaiyan’ and will be reprising his role as Ashwathama in Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD part 2’, among other interesting projects.
